Das Burgau-Gymmnasium und die Hochschule Fresenius in Köln haben eine Partnerschaft geschlossen. Am 1. Dezember hat Frau Dr. Kaiser für unsere Schule und Herr Prof. Dr. Meyer für die Fresenius-Hochschule die Kooperationsvereinbarung beim Besuch des Campus der Hochschule unterschrieben. 

Als Teil der Kooperation hat parallel dazu Herr Dr. Flatten mit seinem Englisch-Grundkurs die International Business School der Fresenius-Hochschule besucht und dort wertvolle Einblicke in das Studieren im Ausland und Interkulturelles Lernen erhalten. Bachelor-Student*innen aus Deutschland, die in New York und Hong Kong studiert hatten, berichteten über ihre Erfahrungen im Auslandsstudium. Masterstudent*innen aus Afrika, Kanada, Arabien und Asien stellten sich im Interview den Fragen Schüler*innen, alles auf Englisch.

A Look into University Life at Fresenius Hochschule
Our day started at the train station in Düren, and we travelled to Fresenius Hochschule in Cologne. When we arrived, students, teachers, and other staff members welcomed us warmly with a variety of drinks and snacks.

After that, we took part in presentations by students who talked about their international experiences in the United States, Singapore, and Germany. Then, we had the chance to ask questions about different topics during an interview with the students.

Next, we went on a tour of the college. We were able to see lectures and lecture halls, and members of the student council gave us more information about the college’s profile during the tour. Many of us were surprised by the opportunities the college offers and were glad to have the chance to talk with the students.

At the end of the visit, we received goodie bags as a small gift, which made the day even more enjoyable.
